Summer of a handsome boy (August 31)

So… My summer has been great.  Lately I’ve been playing extra Cards Against Humanity family edition. oh, yes. I’m addicted. One of my nurses is really into it too, and she even got me an expansion deck as a late birthday present, complete with glow in the dark stickers that say BUTTS, POOP, DOG BARF and stuff like that). I’ve also been demolishing my grandfather. I drew a comic/graphic novel illustration series on Paint 3D of the process of demolishing. I’ve also been writing lots of Raven (our cat) diaries and one Lollipop (our neighbor’s cat) diary. All of the diaries are written from the perspective of Raven and Lollipop.

This summer I went to so many camps. First, I went to a camp at the Pacific Science Center that was a little stressful because we were mostly in a big, loud, echoey room with three other camps and we also moved around a lot…but still fun.   Next, I went to an inclusive camp at Seattle Children’s Playgarden with my sister. Next, I went to a Stone Soup Star Wars theater camp in Jefferson Park, and we performed Star Wars, A New Hope. Last, I went to a fun Parks and rec. camp for only kids with disabilities for two weeks, four days.

After that, we went on our trip. Sadly, we couldn’t go on the RV trip because for complicated reasons, Canada wouldn’t let Burke cross the border to get the RV.

We were very disappointed and eventually we came up with a Plan B. The next day, we went to a hotel in Anacortes called The Majestic for three nights (including my birthday:)). We got to go on lots of the same trails we would’ve done on the RV trip.

After that, we went up to Whidbey Island, which from Anacortes, is a short distance away. I got to smack talk to my grandfather and decimate him at Cards Against Humanity and Barking Kittens. Believe me, he’s probably cowering in a corner right now, crying into a handkerchief.

We continue to go on lots of beautiful hikes and keep updating our Rolling Washington website every chance we get.
